    Talking about the Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering in Heritage Institute of Technology, the total students in this branch are about 60. Companies like Tata Consultancy Services (TCS ), Wipro, Infosys, etc., recruit students and that too in mass. The average placement is 3.75-4.00 LPA. Some CS students get placements for 8-10 LPA as well. One got a package of 22 LPA last year.
    Students from Applied Electronics and Instrumentation (AEI) branch also get placements in these IT companies. But the core companies for AEI that visit the campus are very few. If we talk about the faculty members here, they are quite good. Some are Ph.D

    Applied electronics and instrumentation engineering is a combination of electronics and instrumentation engineering for applied engineering. It is primarily an engineering course, combining the electronics part for sensing with instrumentation engineering.
    Heritage Institute of Technology popularly known as HITK or HIT is a private autonomous engineering college in Anandapur, Kolkata near the East Kolkata Township, West Bengal, India. It is among the top five engineering colleges in West Bengal.

    Honestly speaking, Heritage Institute of Technology (HIT), Kolkata has a pathetic placement record for applied electronics and instrumentation engineering. However, most of the students go for higher studies and doing well after that. But if your aiming to get a good placement just after your Bachelor's then applied electronics and instrumentation may not be a good choice, that too in HIT.
    Some students who know coding and software related stuff get themselves placed in the IT companies with an average package of around 3-4 Lacs per annum. Infosys and Tata Consultancy Services are the major recruiters there. Also, infrastructure wise HI
