Hello, Automobile engineering is offered by the Madras institute of technology (MIT) campus of Anna University but not at the main campus CEG. MIT was first established as a self-financing institute and it was the first self-financing institution in India. Later it was undertaken by Anna University. Automobile engineering is being offered right from the time of establishment. This course is really popular at MIT for which nearly 120 students are admitted every year. The campus is spread around 200 acres which has a separate block for each department. The automobile department has well experienced faculty and everyone would be a PhD. They provide a better understanding of the subject which make the students’ progress better. Internship opportunities are also available which makes the students gain practical knowledge and also an experience. The placements are really good at MIT where companies like Ashoka Leyland, caterpillar, Hyundai, Ford, etc. visit the campus in terms of core and the auto grads are also eligible to get placed in IT sectors like Microsoft, Google, Accenture, CTS, etc. come for recruitment. Though the placement opportunities are good, the aspirants should be updated and skilled enough to get placed in a good company with a good salary. All the best!

Few major point I will be sharing about LPU, I hope that helps. LPU is good for automobile engineering. Good placements in core company as well as software company. Other than participating different events like go kart, project expo, entertainment events like one India, one world etc. Practical based learning and valuable guest lectures also. LPU provides a lot of opportunities to each and every of the eligible students for good placement. LPU rated as 11th Best in India from Zee News Survey in Placements. They give you a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. Try not to miss those classes they will help you in getting better placements, after all, all we need is a decent place with good exposure. I shouldn't even have to explain this one.
