    Automobile engineering is the study of engineering which teaches manufacturing, designing, mechanical and mechanisms as well operation of automobiles.
    Anna University comes under the domain of top 5 best colleges for automobile engineering in India and the placements stats is quite good.

    Automobile engineering is offered by the Madras institute of technology (MIT) campus of Anna University but not at the main campus CEG.
    MIT was first established as a self-financing institute and it was the first self-financing institution in India. Later it was undertaken by Anna University.

    I am not quite aware of B.Tech in automobile engineering at Anna University as Automobile Engineering is the branch of engineering which deals with designing, manufacturing, mechanical mechanisms as well operations of automobiles.     Being LPU alumni I can share the information about automobile engineering at LPU university, One of my friend was enrolled in B.Tech Automobile as well. Few major point I will be sharing about LPU, I hope that helps. LPU is good for automobile engineering. Good placements in core company as well as software company.
