    Companies like Hero, Tata, Mercedes, Toyota come for recruiting students of Automobile engineering.
    50% of the students opting for automobile engineering go for further studies. Some students with higher gpa and other good records get placed in core companies. Many get placed in IT companies. Even many of the bright students get placed in IT. There could many reasons :
    There are many many companies recruiting from MIT Manipal but the problem is what to choose, core company or IT company?

    Manipal is good private university it will show in the brochure the number of mechanical and automobile companies but the placement percentage change for sure in the college just because it depend upon the student if the student is fittest in the corporate world they will get placement for sure , the companies shown are: like Daimler,Hero,Toyota etc visit the campus. .
    So college does all its work and next work comes to the students if they are really good at there work the companies will recruit them.
