How are the placements of B.Tech in automobile engineering in LPU?

Hello! I have my engineering from Lovely Professional University in CSE but I hvae many friends enrolled in Automobile and Mechanical Engineering. I was completely amazed by the designs of cars, robots and new inventions done by them. I will try to answer your question to the best of my knowledge. I can not comment anything about CU. All, I can simply say is don't just go by the name and accreditation and look in detail how much efforts the university or faculty puts in to make their students achieve their goals of their own. LPU provides with numerous opportunities in all the terms. LPU provides opportunity for numerous Live projects and internships from companies add experience in the automobile engineering graduates. Annually, a number of championships and competitions, such as Go Kart, racing, Robowar are organized by the university to provide students with a platform for innovation and development. Moreover, Mechanical engineering students designed a futuristic Formula One Racing Car at SAEINDIA 2017 Noida. Talking about recent placements, the highest package availed is Rs 7.9 LPA for ME from Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India. Rs 7.5 LPA for ME from Wilmar When it comes to Automobile Engineering 95% to 98% of our seniors have been placed in top-notch companies such as HERO MOTORCYCLES, HYUNDAI, ESCORTS, TAFE and many more. There are continuous efforts by faculty to contribute to upliftment of student's career LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. Hello, LPU is a good university when you compare it with other private universities and colleges. According to the current scenario (2017), most students have got placed in IT sector in good MNCs. But when we talk about core industries, the opportunities are less. You have to be unique in your department then only you will be placed. Not only in LPU but in other institutes also, the vacancy for core industry is very less. You will get 4-5 core companies during your placement and the number of students selected will not be more than 20. This figure is according to the current image of LPU, but you can choose LPU because after 4 years you will get much more than this, the rate of growth is very high. Automotive Engineering top International Go-Kart championship 2017 concluded at LPU Campus. LPU Students researched to double the Mileage of Vehicles Half the Electricity Expenses. The following companies visited this college for placements: Volkswagen, Voltas, Anglo Eastern Ship Mgt., Asahi India, Rockman (Hero group), Dharam Consulting, Samundra, Indo-MIM, Sandhar Technologies, JK Lakshmi Cement, Maruti, Lava, XL Dynamics, Asahi India, Cleanmax Solar, Elgi Equipments, etc. And these companies provided atleast 70% placement to the students of LPU.

Lovely Professional University is one of the prestigious institute of India for higher studies and placements. I have seen lot of posts by other persons that LPU is placing their students in software companies etc. Well I want to clarify this statement that: A) A company has various units like production, services, manufacturing, software etc. So when a company is visiting in the campus, they are demanding students from different branches. Dear Student, LPU offers very good placements undoubtedly, ranging from 3.5 lacs to 1 crore depending on the programme and the performance of students. More than 300 companies visit LPU for placements and students are placed both nationally and internationally, even in top notch companies like Google, Amazon, Capegemini, Microsoft to name a few.

Placements are not very good for automobile engineering students as companies visiting for this course are very few like 30-40 in a year. But, exposure is great here in LPU, and you will learn a lot in LPU.

Hi, LPU has more than 200 programmes and fees is variant for all. However, LPU offers immense scholarships and fees gets reduced to even 50% if you score extremely well in LPU NEST.
