    Hey there,
    According to the information that I gathered from my friends, internet and personal experience I came to know that the scene is not as expected in the placement session of Biotechnology.
    DTU is one of the best technological universities in India and of course the placement opportunities are very good, but keeping the core courses in mind. Biotechnology is not a core branch, hence placement opportunities are not up to the mark, but if you are good in that field which you are studying, no one can stop you from getting selected in campus placements.     I can say Lovely Professional University is best for pursuing B.Tech in Biotechnology. If you re looking for quality education, good placements, exposure, academics then LPU is right place, it has all. I am saying this because one of my known is pursuing same course from LPU and her experience is amazing. She told me LPU School of Bioengineering and Biosciences is equipped with state-of-the-art Bioprocess Engineering and Bioscience labs and believes in imparting knowledge to students through a practical approach to achieve mastery in plant and animal physiology.     DTU is one of the best technological universities in India and of course the placement opportunities are very good, but keeping the core courses in mind.     Delhi Technological University is one of the best engineering colleges of India. It ranks in top 10 engineering colleges of India.
    It is very well known for its great infrastructure faculties with the knowledge and experience in teaching as well as facilities provided by them are very good like Labs Sports Complex canteen Wi-Fi, etc.

    Placement is quite good here for Biotechnology Branch.
    The drawback faced is very few core companies participating here.
    Biocon is said to be mass recruiter for Biotechnology Specialization.
    The average package lies in the range of 4-6LPA CTC. Companies like Amazon, Zomato, Pepperfry, Cisco, Oracle, Jpmorgan, Morgan Stanley, Microsoft, Flipkart, Intuit, Makemytrip, Fractal Analytics, Relinace Industry, Tata Consultancy, Lodha Developers, Runwal group, Larsen and Toubro, Bharat Forge etca lot more recruit the students.      DTU is one of the reputed engineering colleges in India. Every year lakhs of students try getting admission here. According to the National Institute Ranking Framework, Delhi Technological University was ranked 39th in India and around 3rd in Delhi. DTU is well known among recruiters and provides decent placements to its students. Last time total 17 offers were made in total for Biotech students. The exact placement stats aren't released by DTU publicly. The average package is around 6-7 LPA for Biotech. Yes, you qualify for DTU if you received a 60% in your 12th grade.

 

However, admission is primarily determined by your JEE Main rank rather than your grades.

 

You have to attend JAC Delhi counseling after JEE.

 

Therefore, you can get DTU CSE/IT if your JEE score is high.

 

If your rank is low, you might have to look at other colleges or get a different branch.
