Companies which visited us were Dell/ 8, Deloitte/6, Barclays/ 8, Microsoft/9, SAP/10, High Radius/6.5/5.5, Intel/8, HP/8, MuSigma/21 (3 years) and a lot more. For Robert Bosch, you need to be thorough in basic biotechnology subjects. Average salary this season was Rs. 4.2 Lacs p. a. Salary package offered this season was substantially better than previous years. Overall top 25% students got amazing offers and biotechnology is gaining huge traction with ample opportunities at KIIT with an all round development on the plate. Amazon/ (16+8 bonus), Direct/25, VMware/14 (you need to know till Trees and got the basics covered), NowFloats/25 (the highest). For these companies, you need to have a good project.

KIIT is a very well known university and is well flourished in every field whether it is academics or other co-curricular activities. Best of the best companies visit the campus for recruitment. Students willing for internships also get many opportunities with companies so that they can gain some experience in the field in which they are willing to work. Placements for the field of biotechnology too are very good here. They have a very supportive training and placement cell and they guide their students so that they can easily choose what is good for their career. Companies like Lal Path Lab, Nestle, Bharat Biotech, Evolva Biotech, Sandor Proteomics, Biogenex, etc., visit the university very often for recruitments. Average salary that a recruited student gets is about 4-4.5 LPA with more opportunities for growth and development.
