    For Biotechnology Engineering, last time (2016-17) out of 75 students who applied to placements, 65 students were placed meaning almost 90% placement for Biotechnology which is astonishing considering the fact many core Companies rolling out offers. The minimum salary offered was 3.5 LPA. The average salary was 7 LPA and the maximum salary was 18 LPA for biotechnology specialisation. All these figures pop out a good reputation at NIT-Warangal.     National Institute of Technology, Warangal is one of the best government colleges of India.
    It ranks 9 in the list of top engineering colleges in India.
    It is known for its great infrastructure faculties with the knowledge and much-needed experience and better facilities like Wi-Fi, sports complex and labs with better equipment and machines.
    It offers many courses out of which Biotechnology is one of the courses in which it offers 31 seats to the students.

    NITs are the premier institutes for engineering after the IITs. NIT-Warangal is one of the top NITs and is known across India. According to the National Institute Ranking Framework, NIT-Warangal ranks 34th among the engineering colleges in India.
    For Biotechnology Engineering, last time (2016-17) out of 46 students who applied to placements from Biotechnology department, 28 students were placed meaning 60 percent placement for Biotechnology which is quite an impressive number for biotechnology.

    NIT-Warangal stands at the 34 position according to MHRD rankings 2017.
    It has a total of 14 departments each one having its own speciality with its own area of interest.
    Biotechnology at NIT-Warangal started 10 years ago. Every year around more than 60% of the students get placed in various sectors (management, software, analyst profiles, etc.).
