    Chemical Engineering is one of those engineering courses that got shoved to the sidelines due to the electronics and software growth in India. Most students who study Chemical Engineering are the ones who like chemistry and prefer an engineering degree over a basic sciences degree in chemistry. However, it is important to understand that there is so much more to this field than just chemistry and that this field offers excellent opportunities in terms of jobs and higher studies. India is home to some excellent programs in Chemical Engineering and some of the Indian institutions are world renowned for their work in Chemical Engineering.

    According the National Institution Ranking Framework , IIT-Delhi ranks 4th among all engineering colleges in India and has seen great global rankings accrding to Nasscom.
    Chemical Engineering at IIT Delhi is really appreciated and worth the money.
    Also in 2016, out of 80 students who participated to placements 69 of the students were placed and hence 90% placement for this branch has been showcased in past 3-years consecutively.

    IIT-Delhi comes to the top of the list in the year 2016 and has remained the top institution of India in 2017 too in QS rankings for worldwide institutions. Also, on second rank when talking about national rankings.
    So, one should expect a better future perspective in all the branches taught with excellence in institution.

    Chemical engineering is a branch in IIT, Delhi which has a right balance of academic burden and gives just sufficient time for an average student to pursue things he likes apart from his course books, without hindering his grades too much.     IITs are the premier engineering institutes. IIT Delhi is one of the old IITs and many lakhs of students try to get admission here every year. According to the National Institution Ranking Framework, IIT Delhi ranks 4th among all engineering colleges in India which is a pretty good rank.
    Chemical Engineering at IIT Delhi is pretty good.
    For Chemical Engineering, for 2015 out of 62 students who applied to placements from Chemical department, all the 53 students were placed meaning 85.5% placement for chemical which is quite an impressive number.

    Chemical engineering is the most Complex branch of IIT Delhi. It is the field of engineering which deals with the composition of chemicals and substance present in the atmosphere.
