    Placements: In 2015-16, the placement was 30% and in 2016-17, it has gone up to 50%. The average salary is 3 lacs and the max. Is 8 Lacs for chemical engineering specialisation. The lowest is 1.8 Lacs per annum. The companies that visited for Pharma sector based jobs for chemical engineering students are Reliance, Honeywell, Filtra Consultancy, Accenture, PolyOne, Kingfa, Praxair, Pfizer, Ranbaxy, etc. For 2015-16 batch, The chemical department had the least number of placements.
