The placements in NIT, Warangal for the chemical branch are nice though not as good as the core branches.
The average placements for the respective branch are around Rs 10 lakhs per annum and the highest being Rs 21 lakhs, in the recent placement session.
Among all NIT, chemical engineering is best in NIT, Warangal with well arranged and selective academic curriculum and a vibrant large campus.

Placement in chemical engineering at National Institute of Technology is satisfactory. I mean it's not so good if you are talking about core job. Students of the chemical engineering branch practice a lot of computer programming languages to get a decent amount in any coding company. If you look at the past placement statistics, you will easily understand the current situation of chemical engineering branch. So if you are aiming for higher studies or research then you are welcome in the chemical engineering but if you are aiming to get the best score placement then this may not be a good choice.

The placement stats of chemical engineering is very good this year. More than 80% of students are placed while 3-4 months are still left. Hence, we can expect about more than 95% placement this year. Among this, about 60% students were offered core jobs and the others in IT, business firms and engineering coaching institutes. Around 20 students also got the internship in which the highest stipend was offered by ITC (1.25 lacs/month) and the lowest by Pepsi (8,000/month).
