Frankly speaking, Chemical engineering (CL) will be a better choice unless you have some genuine interest in chemistry.
Chemical engineering is not Chemistry. It is a mixture of a profusion of physical chemistry along with a mess of physics, maths and many other things. Whereas, in Chemical Science and Technology (CST) focus is mainly on chemistry. All those inorganic, organic and other aspects. CST, on the other hand, is highly chemistry oriented.
