Hey there, DTU is one of the prestigious technological institutes of Delhi. Placements for civil branch of DTU are not that bad. First of all, there are very few Govt. companies that visits DTU for the recruitment drive (civil engineering). Still, there are many private firms that visit the campus for recruitment. Some of them which visited last year were SMS Siemag, Era Infra Construction, Turner Construction, Godrej and L&T. These private firms offered an average package of 4-6 LPA. As all Govt. job profiles are recruited through PSUs and GATE exam. So better start preparing for GATE exam because that's your best chance of getting a job. If you are looking for a non-technical job profile then make sure you have good communication skills and aptitude. You may not be able to match your pay scales with that of computer science students, but a government job in civil engineering offers you a comfortable and happy life in the long run. Civil engineers from DTU have a decent placement record and I believe anyone with a good percentage and decent communication skills can expect a package between 5-7 lakhs. I hope this helps you.

Delhi Technological University is one of the best engineering colleges of India. It ranks in top 10 engineering colleges of India. It is very well known for its great infrastructure, faculties with the knowledge and experience in teaching as well as facilities provided by them are very good like Labs, Sports Complex, canteen, Wi-Fi, etc. There are many courses offered by Delhi Technological University out of which Civil engineering is one of the course in which it or it offers about 186 to the students.
