5 years agoFor Civil Engineering, last time (2016-17) out of 89 students who applied to placements from the Civil department, 56 students were placed meaning 62.9 percent placement for Civil which is an impressive number. For Civil, the minimum salary offered was 3.2 LPA. The average salary was 6.5 LPA and the maximum salary was 11 LPA. All these figures suggest pretty good placements at NIT-Warangal. Placements witness companies like Sobha Developers Group, etc. , and some investment banks like Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, etc. -
National Institute of Technology, Warangal is one of the best government colleges of India.
It ranks 9 in the list of top engineering colleges in India.
It provides the much-needed skill that is hands-on experience and practical knowledge of how to use different equipments. It is known for its great infrastructure faculties with the knowledge and much-needed experience and better facilities like Wi-Fi, sports complex and labs with better equipment and machines.

The placements for civil engineering in NIT, Warangal is good but compared to CSE the placements are not that good. In NIT, Warangal CSE and ECE students will be placed mostly in the software company with high packages.
NIT, Warangal, as usual, has the best placements.
Almost all the students who wanted to get an on campus placement got the offer in some of the most reputed firms in the market.
Some companies that visited this year at NIT, Warangal for recruitment were L&T ECC, L&T Powai, L&T Ramboll, Fidelity Investments, Bank of America, ITC, EGIS Engineers India, Lanco Infratech Limited.
