How are the placements of B.Tech in Civil Engineering from VJTI, Mumbai?

The placements from civil engineering in VJTI expanded as Veermata Jijabai Technical Institute is quite good which one can relate to the obvious constructive nature of the elite city, Mumbai. The students from the institute are hired by many big construction companies as an employee and many construction sites as an intern. Mumbai is one of the fastest developing cities of India and has a large scope in construction era for civil engineers which the same is reflected in the placement stats of the institute. The average placement for the undergrads is 8 LPA (civil students) and 14 LPA is the highest package offered to the student placed in Ultratech Cement Pvt. Ltd. Though the civil students prefer to run their own business and work on the own construction sites rather than jobs, but jobs could be a better learning experience to know the corporate world. Here, the admission is done through MHT-CET and JEE Mains and one can qualify with 150 marks in MHT-CET and 200 marks in JEE Mains for the civil branch. Thank you. Hope it helped.

VJTI is heritage and legacy brand and holds high esteem in rankings. Civil engineering has attracted nearly best placements. The packages are great with the highest package goes around 32PA. Some top organizations like Siemens, ABB, Ultratech Cement, Bharat Forge, Hindustan Copper, Aditya Birla, Reliance Oil and Gas and numerous others come to campus. The percentage rate is almost 100% for civil engineering.The college also provides stupendous internship along with stipend ranging from 10,000 to 1,20,000 per month. The internships duration is mostly around 2 months to 4months on average. VJTI is known for its academia and widely reputed as ranks in top 25 colleges in India. The diverse set of students bring peer learning at its best and also alumni support is great. The college has hands on experience training in soft skills, psychometric tests, aptitude tests such that students are well versed for final Placements and secure their jobs easily. The Placements hold very bright future for VJTI for its collaboration and MOUs with companies.

Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute situated in Matunga, Mumbai is a one of the well-known engineering colleges in Maharashtra and is said to be ranked second in Maharashtra after College of engineering, Pune (excluding IITs and NITs). Getting into this college through MHCET requires a lot of efforts too. Placements of VJTI are pretty good when compared to other government colleges in Maharashtra. Last time (2016-17) out of 55 students who applied to placements from civil department 28 students were placed meaning 50.9 percent placement for civil. More than 35 companies visited the campus for recruiting from civil department. The lowest package offered was around 3 LPA and the highest package offered was around 19 LPA. Many reputed companies visited the campus. But you need to keep in mind that placement scenario for civil is dull across India. Even Premier institutes like IITs and NITs have lesser placements for civil. So the overall scenario looks okay for civil placements in Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute. B.Tech civil placements comparatively are good with package ranging from Rs 4 lakhs to Rs 23 lakhs. Core companies like BPCL, LODHA, LNT INFRA and several consultancy firms are amongst the recruiter. My batch is being placed exceptionally. More than 10 students placed in the first month itself. Placements are far more better than most of the college in the state.

The placements in VJTI are exceptional. Students, who are rank holders get premium jobs and high salaries from multinationals and industry leaders. The packages are quite great with the highest package goes around 30L for every annum. Organizations like Seimens, Microsoft, Samsung, JP Morgan and numerous others visit the campus. The percentage rate is over 90% for all the branches. The college also provides internship along with stipend ranging from 10,000 to 60,000 per month. The internships duration is mostly around 2 months.
