How are the placements of B.Tech in Computer Engineering from College of Engineering, Bharati Vidyapeeth University?

Bharati Vidyapeeth University is an average college which has an average infrastructure, faculties are not very experienced and facilities provided by them lack the refine equipment and machines. According to the reviews given by students of computer science engineering from College of Engineering Bharati Vidyapeeth University, they have given 3 out of 5 stars to infrastructure, 3 out of 5 stars to faculties and they have given 4 out of 5 stars to facilities. Now talking about the placements in computer science engineering, they have given 3 out of 5 stars. According to my information, Bharathi Vidyapeeth University has average placements, companies visiting placements of Bharati Vidyapeeth University for computer science engineering students are as follows: TCS SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC SRF FLOUR CORP ATOS SYNTEL TATA CAPITAL FINANCIAL SERVICES LIMITED WEBTECH DEVELOPERS HCL FISERV NTT DATA HP ADOBE, etc. There are some of the recruiters that visit Bharati Vidyapeeth University for computer science engineering and these companies gives average package of about 3 Lacs per annum. The highest package is of about 12 Lacs per annum and about 70% students from computer science engineering gets placed from campus. Hope it helps.

Bharati Vidyapeeth is a good college and it has fine placements for computer and information technology branch. As per the college website data, there are many companies which come to hire students. There are many well-known companies like Adobe, Hindustan Unilever, Hitachi, HP, Mahindra and Mahindra Amdocs, Flipkart, Idea Cellular Service, etc. The minimum average salary offered by companies is 3 LPA and the average package offered is 4.5 to 5 LPA and some companies offered the package of 10-12 LPA too. This college also conducts programme related to student internship programmes and many students do their internship and get some stipend too, and there is an increase in placements to 70%-85% from 2009-10 to 20013-14, but 100% placement has not been achieved. It is a good percentage. Every year near about 300 students get placed in different IT and computer companies. The stipend varies from 2k to 10k. So, the overall placement percentage is fine.

Bharati Vidyapeeth is an average 2 Tier 2 college where one can expect an average placement of 3.5 to 4 LPA for computer science branch. While some companies also come with a package of more than 10 LPA but they are mostly looking for data scientists and business analysts. Some of the companies that visit the campus during the placement season are mentioned below: TCS SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC SRF FLOUR CORP ATOS SYNTEL TATA CAPITAL FINANCIAL SERVICES LIMITED WEBTECH DEVELOPERS HCL FISERV NTT DATA The package offered can go as low as 2.5 LPA while the average reported for the year 2016 was 4.50 LPA with the maximum package offered to a student was 10. 23 LPA. The average is calculated by taking into consideration the highest and lowest packages too. Therefore, if one company had offered 11 LPA and selected only 1 student the average for that placement season goes automatically above 4.5 LPA. Most of the companies that visit this college are IT based. Most of the CS/IT branch students get placements at the end of placement session. Still, a few on-technical companies also visit the campus. I want to list some companies that visited the campus for placements this year: E&Y, ZS Associates, Opera Solutions, TCS, Nagarro, Thoughtworks, Sapient, Global Logic, Sopra Steria, Posist Tech, Mahindra Comviva, SVAM International, HK Inworks, RTDS, etc. The minimum package offered is 3.3 LPA and maximum is 10 LPA. The average package is around 4 LPA. The companies listed above have a good reputation which is generally required at the beginning of the career. The training and placement cell is headed by Mr. Alok Basu who has a great reputation in this field and single-handedly, he tries hard to bring as many placement opportunities as he can for students. Maybe, he is a little bit rude, but that can be ignored. Overall, the placements are good, still, to get a job, an individual has to make efforts on his own to get the placement and that requires hard work.
