Well talking about K.J Somaiya engineering college is one of the best engineering college in the region with world class facility and infrastructure offered for the overall development of the candidate so if you are in the field of engineering from KJ then you are obviously safe hands they will equip you with all the necessary skills and knowledge require for the individual development . The field of data engineering, software developer, system engineer, support system engineer database managers etc are the major profile for the computer science graduate. If you are competent enough you can easily get a great start. The computer graduate are getting jobs in the company like TCS, Infosys,Wipro, ACCENTURE, IBM MICROSOFT etc all the IT Giants offering the package from minimum Rs 4 lakh per annum to about Rs 15 lakh per annum to the student of K.J with great industry collaboration it is easier to deliver all student to great career start so you will be easier to get place. It will b easier for you to have a kick start career in getting your job. I hope this help.

KJ Somaiya College of Engineering is among the some of the top colleges in Mumbai and has gained the autonomous status by NAAC. Placements at this college are improving each and every year by leaps and bounds. This year it has got 5 students selected in Microsoft with a pay package of nothing less than 20 LPA. Minimum package of was 2.5 LPA by startups and local companies Average placement package offered was 3-3.5 LPA by the mass recruiter and MNCs. The maximum placement package offered was 25 LPA by Rakuten. Considering all this in mind, it is easy to summarise that the college will provide you with a placement according to the amount of effort you put into building your skill set throughout your course time. One who is a mediocre student and just wants to get placed will surely be ensured with placement in some or the other mass recruiter while one who makes the effort to learn more and more, platforms would be served as per his hard work. K. J. Somaiya College of Engineering has a good placement record for computer engineering. Here are the detailed highlights of the placement in the year 2016: No. of offer letters were 182 for CSE. Total 51 companies visited the campus for placement drive. Companies visited the campus: Directi, Microsoft, Wissen Technology, L&The Infotech Limited, Oracle India Private Limited, Infosys Limited, Accenture Services Private Limited, Vodafone Share Services Limited, L&The limited, Wissen technology, etc. were the major recruiters last year. Last year's highest package was around 10 Lacs per annum and lowest package offered was 1.5 Lacs per annum. The average package was 3 - 4.5 LPA. 2017 placement drive is going on and 18 students are already placed with the highest package of 16.75 LPA offered by Morgan Stanley (one student). 11 students placed in Barclays with a package of 8 LPA. 2 students placed in industrial valley partners with a package of 7.48 LPA and 4 students placed in media.net with a package of 7.2 LPA.
