How are the placements of B.Tech in Computer Engineering from YMCA University of Science and Technology?

Greetings from Shiksha!! Computer Science Engineering is among the best course of engineering in our country and world wide. Since the growth of IT Sector is very much now a days in our country, there are many opportunities for jobs for Computer Engineers. The placements at YMCA University for computer science engineering is really good. The placement ratio is almost 80% placement. The average package is around Rs 4 to Rs 6 lakhs per annum. Since this branch CSE is among evergreen field, the placement of this branch will increase with good amount of packages. Companies like TCS, Amazon, Paytm, Voltas, Panasonic etc takes students from here. It is really good to do computer science engineering from a reputed institute or university if someone is really interested in this and is in the search better packages and further studies. The placement ratio of YMCA University is almost 80% and in future, it will be like this only for computer science engineering and other top engineering fields. Many Multinational Companies coming with established of business in our house will offer huge amount of jobs for Computer & IT Engineers.

YMCA University of Science and Technology is an average college which surprisingly is better in terms of core branches like mechanical and automobile departments, but when it comes to computer science, the college fails to attract a number of core computer science companies because of which the placement report of the Year 2017 for the computer science department is just average. The number of companies showing up during the placement season of the college for computer science batch were: Hella India, Newgen, Libsys, Nectar, Life Sciences. The average placement package being offered to the computer science batch was around 3.67 LPA while the highest being offer was around 8.3 LPA. The mechanical department of the college has a much better placement report then in comparison to the computer science department and hence I would like to recommend you to take up the college if you are interested in the core branches. Otherwise, you should keep this college as your last option. I hope you do well. Cheers.

YMCA University of science and technology Faridabad is a very good state university of Haryana. The university is A graded by NAAC and was established in 1969. The placement in YMCA is very good that too for Computer science engineering branch. Here is the Placement highlights of YMCC for computer science engineering (for the year 2017): Highest salary offered: 15.5 lakhs per annum (Offered by Amazon). Lowest salary offered: 1.8 lakhs per annum. Average salary is around 4 lakhs per annum. Tata consultancy services is the major recruiter with 115 offers at 3.5 lakhs per annum. Sprinkler offered 12 lakhs per annum to one student.
