How are the placements of B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering from CGC, Landran?

Placements of B.Tech in CSE from CGC Landran are very good. Being a final year CSE student here in Landran Campus, I will recommend you to join this campus if you're junior. Almost everyone get placed at the end of the final year. Good Luck!

Chandigarh Group of Colleges is one of the best colleges in the state for engineering and is surprisingly doing well in attracting a number of core companies for computer science students in the college for placement drive. Some of the companies that visit the campus for placement drive including IT companies and core ones are: Aditya Birla Group, Genpact, IBM, Saint Gobain Glass, Wipro, Accenture, HDFC Bank, Microsoft, TCE, Consulting Engineers, TCS, Wipro Technologies, Sapient, TVS Motors, ICFAI University, Indian Navy, RAMCO Systems, HCL Technologies, Honeywell, L&T Infotech, MphasiS, Syntel Godrej and Boyce, I-flex Persistent Systems Limited, Sap Labs and Tech Mahindra. With this the total average placement package offered to the students of computer science batch of 2017 was around 5 LPA. The total placement percentage is around 85% while the number of students getting placed in corporate companies are 40%.

Computer Science Engineering is best Branch for job opportunities. Coming to the placements at Chandigarh Group of Institutes, Landran of Computer Science Engineering is really very good. The placement ratio is around 85 to 90 % placement. The average package is around 7 to 8 lakhs per annum. Since this Branch CSE is among evergreen field, the Placements of this Branch will increase with good amount of packages. Company like TATA Motors, Tech Mahindra, Reliance Industries and L&T are the bulk recruiters. Other than these companies, many companies like ITC, Zydus, Torrent, Sun pharma, Apollo, Ultratech, HCL Technological, etc. takes students from here. This all credit goes to Training and Placement Cell Department of CGL, Landran. So, thus it is really good to do Computer Science Engineering from Reputed Institute or University if someone is really interested in this and is in the search better packages and further studies. The campus of CGL Landran is very good with all high facilities. So, thus the placement ratio of CGL Landran is almost 90 % and in future it will be like this only for Computer Science Engineering and other top Engineering fields. And jobs for CSE will increase in upcoming years due to rapid growth in Computer Technologies and Companies.

Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran is a very prestigious college in Punjab for Engineering. Chandigarh Group of Colleges has placed itself in the pioneering position in providing quality placement opportunities, not only to its own students, but even for students from various other institutes of the entire north region. Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran is a premier engineering college situated near Chandigarh. The course on computer science engineering is the branch of engineering which deals with Computer engineering, software development, System engineering, data engineering, cloud computing, android development, -IOT, etc. If you have completed your 10+2 (PCM) with minimum 55% marks, then you are eligible to get admission in CGC plus you have to appear in the All India entrance exams like IIT JEE, State board Conducting exams, etc. It has modern infrastructure , latest technology, Good faculty straight from the industry to make the student industry ready ,Course designed in such a way that are designed fir industry level ao it is a good Option to go for and definitely there are prominent recruitment agency who comes for placement every year the following are the recruiters:- -HP -MICROSOFT -ACCENTURE -GOOGLE -IBM -ORACLE -DELL -TCS -GENPACT The package offered is minimum package was 3.5 lakh and the highest package was 22 lakh offered by Google.
