How are the placements of B.Tech in Computer Science & Engineering from Karunya University?

Computer Science Engineering is among the best course of Engineering now a days in terms of education and Placements. The placements at Karunya University of computer science engineering is really very good. The placement ratio is almost 70 to 75% placement. The average package is around Rs. 3 to Rs. 5 lakhs per annum. Since this branch CSE is among the evergreen branch, the placements of this branch will increase with the good amount of packages. Many companies like Accenture, Infosys, Tata Group, TCS, Renault etc takes students from here. The credit goes to training and placement cell department of Karunya University. It is really good to do computer science engineering from a reputed institute or university for better Placements in best Companies. The placement ratio of Karunya University is almost 75 % and in future, it will be like this only for computer science engineering and other top engineering fields. The generation of jobs for this Branch will be in upcoming years due to development in IT Sector in our country.

The college was established in 1986, and has been accredited B Grade University by NAAC. The college has produced more than 7000 undergraduates until now. Karuna University is an above average college with 1688 number of students enrolled in the 2017 batch of computer science branch. The university boasts of highest placement of 27 lacs and hundred percent placement, particularly in the computer science branch. Some of the companies who visited the campus were: Accenture, Bangalore Zoho Corp., Chennai Rockode Technologies, Bangalore Netapps Nutanix India Pvt. Ltd. Zifo RnD solutions Iota labs Odessa technologies Cognizant tech solutions Wipro TCS, Tech Mahindra, Chennai You can expect an average placement of 5 to 6 LPA. This concludes the 2017 placements of computer science branch, and considering the facts mentioned above the placements can overall be recorded as above average in my opinion. If you are considering the college as an option to study at, it is a good option for you.

Karunya University has excellent placement record, a total of 146 companies visited for placement and around 1622 students are placed for 2015, the total number of companies visiting for pre-placement has also increased from 65 to 146 from 2003-04 to 2025-16. Some of the key recruiters of the university are Accenture, Mahindra Satyam, Wipro, Infosys, Syntel, Renault, TATA, etc. We have a very good placements in our university of reputed companies like Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Amazon, HCL, etc. Many more core companies with respect to their branches, many internships are planned for students in different companies to students to grow as per industrial standards. This university has everything - infrastructure, environment and potential to become the best in the country but there are certain factors which is long due to be addressed. Having said that, there is a marked difference between the alumni of this institution compared to others. Overall, it is great for computer science specialization in terms of job opportunities.

The placements for CSE are some of the standardized one. Companies that have visited Karunya this year: Accenture, Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Infosys, Wipro, IBM We also have Amazon coming in evert short span of time. Karunya has a creditable record of placement of its final year students and graduates. A good number of final year students plan to go for higher studies in India or abroad or turn entrepreneurs. As per recent trends, about 80% of eligible final year students, who seek a placement, are placed with reputed organizations at the initiative of the Karunya University prior to their leaving the campus. Apart from placement interviews on other campuses in and around Coimbatore, in which our students participate, a number of interviews are held on our campus.
