Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India has recognised the LPU as one the most Employable and Placements oriented University. According to LPU officials they usually says that they provide 100% placements to all the eligible and placement aspiring candidates. More than 700 giant companies are visiting University campus to recruit the Industry ready candidates made by LPU. More than 900 drives are being conducted in a year. Now just imagine there are only 365 days in a year, and 900 placement drives are the big number, which simply means that students might witness 4-5 drives at every alternative days. I have been in LPU so I can vouch on their practices that they are implementing and I have witnessed their effort for students and management working hard for placement and imparting quality teaching. The placements of this college is best, and the highest pack of this college from CSE branch has recorded the highest package of INR. 1.50 crore and the average pack of all the branches is INR. 3.5-4.5 LPA.

Amity, Noida is a private university located in Noida. You can get a detailed overview of the college here: <a href="https://www.shiksha.com/university/amity-university-noida-41334" style='word-wrap:break-word;'>https://www.shiksha.com/university/amity-university-noida-41334</a> In comparison to local private universities Amity performs well but is nowhere near premier institutes like IITs, NITs or BITS. More than 100 students from CSE got placed in 2016 (criteria – CGPA ). The average package was around 4-5 LPA while the maximum package was around 10 LPA which only 3-4 students could get. Most of the students were placed in IT roles as such, few went for consulting too. Some companies visiting were Adobe, Zycus and Tata Technologies, Accenture and Tech Mahindra. So the placements at Amity was average.
