Birsa Institute of technology is best engineering college of Dhanbad after IIT, Dhanbad. Admission in BIT Sindri is done through JCECE. The Institute is very old and is located in Sindri town which is 20 kilometers away from Dhanbad. The university is affiliated to Vinoba Bhave Univesity, Hazaribag.

Hi there, Birsa Institute Of Technology is a state owned college in Jharkhand. It was established way back in 1949. The college is quite reputed in bihar and jharkhand. But, to be frank conditions in BIT Sindri from past few years is quite pathetic as the environment of the college is not appropriat

The percentage of people placed in on-campus jobs & internships is very high. There is a good amount of salary/stipend offered to the students on the basis of their skills & knowledge.
