How are the placements of B.Tech in CSE from Dayananda Sagar University (DSU)?

Dayanand Sagar College of Engineering is a part of Dayananda Sagar University. The University for computer science is having a very nice placement record as almost all the students from computer science get placed in reputed companies. The admission process in Dayanand Sagar College of engineering is through its own private exam or through COMEDK where there is a minimum requirement of 45% marks in 10th and +2. The institution has an average placement of 9 to 11 lakh on an average highest being 21 lakh from CSE department with companies visiting such as Microsoft, Flipkart, Amazon, sap, Ashok Leyland, Fincorp, Mettwies, Axis Bank, Vodafone, etc. The university has a plus point of being situated near the corporate city of Bangalore and also have a nice infrastructure and is located in the lap of nature. Dayananda Sagar university is the best college for engineering. It also best for who scored less mark or rank in exams. because cut off is normal and had the best availability. The campus is small compared to other "DS" campus, but after 3-4 years campus will be shift to 106-acre campus. Teaching and other things best for student. Innovation is given required importance and entrepreneurship is encouraged on a large scale with dedicated section. Workshops are held regularly. No such big fests take place in this campus. Academics is given full importance. Hi, Dayananda Sagar University (DSU) came into existence and started batches only from 2015. The curriculum of DSU is different from that of VTU. With various changes ranging from the marking schemes to subjects. Programming languages like Java and Python are now a part of the BE CSE curriculum in the early semesters, in the 3rd and 4th semesters respectively. There are various initiatives at DSCE, a few to mention are some research labs and regular hackathons to develop an active student developer community. The placements have been good for the CS department mainly because of the demand for CS engineers. Also, there are a lot of opportunities presented to students to excel under various faculty members to pursue research interests and higher studies. All in all, CS at DSCE is a good program and once into the program, it's upto the students to be smart and garner the skills required to crack their dream careers! All the best.
