DIT is good for three branches mainly CSE, IT and ECE. The placement is good there. Last year Amazon hired three people at 25 LPA. The major recruiters hire mainly these three branches.
Around 90-95% of students from CSE/IT department gets placed in some or the other companies. The package could be as low as 2.8 Lacs or it could be high as 25 Lakhs (although only 2 students got that in the entire history), but students at least got a job.
