The average package of CSE at IIT-Guwahati is around 9 to 10 LPA. Many top multinational companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Facebook, etc., visit here and offer good packages to Computer Engineers. Companies like Yahoo, Oracle, Snapchat, Axis Bank, HCL Technologies, Accenture, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Adani Group, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Samsung, Qualcomm, Bosch group, Wipro, Glenmark, Dabur etc., recruited students from here. IITs are the premier engineering institutes. IIT-Guwahati is one of the old IITs and lakhs of students try to get admission here every year. According to the National Institute Ranking Framework, IIT-Guwahati ranks 7th among all engineering colleges in India which is a pretty good rank.
