How are the placements of B.Tech in CSE from IIT, Kanpur?

Hello, IIT Kanpur has the best placement record. Frankly speaking, the academics of IIT, Kanpur are way better than any other IIT as far as the computer science engineering is concerned. Also, IIT Kanpur is home to best computer science faculty in India.They have Padma Shri awardees and the AKS-primality paper authors. The computer science and engineering department at IIT Kanpur have work that can broadly be broken down into two categories: theory and systems. Most of the foundation courses deal with theory (the theory of theory, and the theory behind systems), and you get to learn a LOT about exactly why things are the way they are. The average package offered is generally between Rs 15 lakhs to Rs 18 lakhs per annum. The highest package offered to a student is 1.5 crores or 100,000 USD by Google Mountain View, California. IIT Kanpur is one of the most prestigious colleges of India. The academics, the quality of education and the faculty all this makes it the topmost priority for the recruiters to visit in the placement season. And plus CSE, what can I say? CSE is the first choice of students in engineering. The area is booming, there more jobs in this sector than any other. The Department of Computer Science and Engineering of IIT Kanpur is one of the most sought-after in the country. Before going onto placements, let me tell you some inner talks. The coding culture at Kanpur is very good, there are students who get selected in Google Summer of Code which is an online competition by Google, only a few dozen of the country can crack it. Most of the students get a job after graduating, In CSE the percentage placement ids around 92%. The average domestic package is 17 lac per annum. The highest package is approximately 70 lac per annum but we all know only 2-3 students go that high. Those are the international recruiters paying that high. Computer science and engineering is the best engineering branch nowadays. IT sector is growing rapidly Talking about the placements of computer science engineering at IIT Kanpur, almost 100% is seen every year. The average package offered for CSE engineering at IIT, Roorkee is around 8 to 10 LPA. Many multinational companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Facebook, etc. visit here and offers good packages to computer engineers. Companies like Yahoo, Oracle, Snapchat, Axis Bank, HCL Technologies, Accenture, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Adani group, Flipkart, Snapdeal, Samsung, Qualcomm, etc. takes students from here. Since CSE branch is best and evergreen, the placement percentage for CSE branch will also increase in future with good amount of packages by the companies.
