The most popular campus recruiting companies are Amazon, Flipkart, SAP, Oracle, Cisco, Hyatt, Air Indigo, Axis Bank, Indian Army, Adobe, Samsung, and so on LPU has not still achieved a high classic package of crores but it bagged a record of highest number of placement previous year in companies such as Cognizant, Tech Mahindra, Capgemini, etc. There are also ample of internship drives provided by the university for the pre industrial experience and as a VIP pass to enter into any cooperate. Based on your talent and hard work, you can also get into Google and Microsoft through various rounds of test and interviews. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible students to secure good placement. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Aspiring Minds have ranked LPU as having Most Employable Students in consecutively twice in a row for previous academics sessions. ASSOCHAM (Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry of India) rated LPU as Best Private University with regards to placements. Zee News Survey rated us as 11th Best in India in Placements. Several Big Brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic session 2015-2016 for campus placements, students training/workshops, faculty development, etc. and the process is still going on at full pace. Around 150+ companies visit every year for campus-placement of students from LPU. And this year already more than 180 placement drives till Feb 2017 of leading industry giants have been conducted successfully (more than 90% being MNCs) for students passing out in 2017. For Instance, during Day-1 this year (batch 2016) Cognizant Technology Solutions (CTS) and Tech Mahindra extended 799 placement offers to engineering students of LPU in one go. Also, in my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and learn as much as you can, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect polishing your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews. LPU provides plenty of opportunities to its students to take part in events, competitions, fests in order to let them grow their personality and give them a chance to polish their skills. LPU is one of the best university in terms of education, infrastructure, discipline as well as placements. Here in LPU, I can say that the best department is CSE because students from the 3rd year are being placed in many reputed MNCs and the packages that they were providing are very high. Standard education and that to updating the curriculum based on the industry need is the best thing in this university. Exposure to different platforms will get in this university and faculty are very interactive and interested in teaching many different new things, people from different parts of the world are pursuing their Bachelor's here and LPU is having IOS lab which is the best asset to this university, can get quality education with less spending of money, best university to opt after school. Placement training classes will start from 2nd year onwards and will teach the best things that the current industry needs. Concluding that for CSE student he/she will get 100% satisfaction after having their degree in their hands.

Lovely Professional University is considered as one of the best private universities of North India. Most important thing about this university is its infrastructure. LPU has world class infrastructure (I just loved it) and a pool of good faculties as well. Computer science engineering is the best branch there. The university provides lots of opportunities to its students. Main drawback of the university is its location. It is located in the outskirts of the city Jalandhar. But the giant 600 acres campus has all the facilities. Now coming to the placement part, computer science engineering has 100% placements. Many Students got multiple job offers. Cognizant and Tech Mahindra are major recruiters with 950 offers. University has MoU with Tech Mahindra. Average package offered is 4 -5 LPA. Highest package was around 7 LPA. So if you are searching for a good engineering for computer science engineering then choose LPU.

Lovely Professional University is a private university. LPU had average placements for CSE department. 80% of placed students got package less than 4 LPA by companies like Cognizant and Tech Mahindra. 15 percent got a package between 4-7 LPA. Remaining 5 percent got packages above 10 LPA from companies like Amazon. So placement scenario was average for CSE at LPU.
