Computer Science Engineering is the best engineering Branch of today in terms of education and Placements.
MIT is good Institute which provides quality education especially to CSE students.
The placements at MIT, Manipal of Computer Science Engineering is really very good. The placement ratio is almost 95% placement. Many multinational IT companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, etc. visit every year and take students from here.
The average package is around 12 lakhs per annum.

Placements in MIT, Manipal for CSE students in 2016 were as good as they have been in the previous years. Some of the top companies that visited the campus were Microsft, Amazon, Cisco, Samsung, SanDisk, Goldman Sachs, Citrix, Juniper and Oracle. There were more than 70 companies for CSE core jobs including giants like Microsoft, Amazon and Oracle. Nearly all of the CSE students got placed in the first month itself. Some of the companies I have mentioned came to hire interns as well. The highest package offered was 27 LPA, by Amazon. I have listed some of the companies and the number of students they hired.
