    NIT Surathkal is one of the top technological institutions in India and richly deserved recognition as an Institute of National Importance with highest rating, recognition as a QIP Center, initiation and operationalization of MoUs with several national and international institutions.
    As Closing rank for CSE branch in NIT Surathkal is 5173 So students are really good in their studies.

    Computer science and engineering is among the best engineering fields in India and abroad. CSE branch offers the highest employment in our country
    The placements at National Institute of Technology, Surathkal for Computer Science and Engineering is really very good. The placement ratio is almost 95 to 100%. Many multinational IT companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, etc., visit the campus every year and take students from here.

    National Institute of Technology-Suratkal is one of the best government colleges of India.
    It ranks 13 in the list of top engineering colleges in India.
    It is known for its great infrastructure faculties with the knowledge and much-needed experience and better facilities like Wi-Fi sports complex and labs with better equipment and machines.
    NIT-Surathkal has many courses to offer out of which computer science engineering is one of the courses in which it offers 92 seats to the students.

    The NIT Surathkal has the most vibrant campus and study culture when it comes to comparison amongst all the top NITs and best government and autonomous institutes except IITs.
    The placement there from B.Tech CSE has an average of around 15 per annum varying from 10 to 50 lakhs being lowest and highest respectively.
    The campus shares an edge with the ocean and owns it private beach, which makes it beautiful as anything.

    NITs are the premier institutes for engineering after the IITs. NIT, Surathkal is one of the top NITs and is known across the India. According to the National Institutional, Ranking Framework NIT Surathkal ranks 22nd among the engineering colleges in India.
    For computer science engineering, last time (2016-17) out of 94 students who applied to placements from CSE department all the 94 students were placed meaning 100 percent placement for CSE which is quite an impressive number.
    For CSE the minimum salary offered was Rs 4 lakhs per annum. The average salary was Rs 12.8 lakhs per annum and the maximum salary was Rs 25 lakhs per annum. All

    According to last year statistics, 100% of class got placed. Highest package being 35 lpa. Companies that visit our college include Uber, Amazon, Arcesium, Microsoft, VISA, Samsung (to name a few).
    The department has signed MoU with IBM, Intel, Leeds Metropolitan University and others, for academic collaborative projects.

    NIT-Surathkal ranks 3rd for placements by NASSCOM in the year 2016 and also ranks 22 by NIRF since last two years.
