    NIT, Trichy is surely known for its placements and is ranked first among all the NITs for a reason. In 2016, the percentage of total students placed was 96.7 percent. For CSE department, it was 97.6 percent for 2015 and a whopping 100% in 2016. Talking about the companies that visit for recruiting include many tech giants like Intel, Amazon, Facebook, Dell, HP. But some students from circuital branches also opt for roles in IT and management as such. In these sectors, we have some of the really big names like Amazon, Google, Facebook in tech and Credit Suisse, Morgan Stanley, Deloitte in management/finance coming for recruitment. The t

    The placements of this college is the best of all NITs and the highest pack of this branch is 95 Lacs per annum, plus perks and some good companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Oracle, PayPal, Samsung, Walmart, DE Shaw, Morgan Stanley visits this campus.

    Computer science engineering is best Branch in terms of Placements and highest packages.
    The placements at National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli of Computer Science Engineering is really very good. The placement ratio is almost 95 to 100%. Many multinational IT companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, etc. visit every year and take students from here.
    The average package is around 15 lakhs per annum.

    The placements of Computer Science and Engineering department at NIT, Trichy is not only at par with the placements at top IITs but is also one of the best in the country.
    Average salary fluctuates between Rs 8-10 Lakh per annum depending on the number of recruits the high paying companies make. Like this, Samsung Research, newly set up at Bangalore recruited more than 10 students and offered Rs 14 Lacs per annum CTC.
    Unlike IITs where most of the big companies visit the campus on the same day, the visiting of companies is pretty relaxed i.e. the companies rarely overlap with each other.

    In 2015, the percentage of students placed was 95 percent. For the CSE department, it was 95 percent in 2016 and 90 percent in 2017. The average salary for CSE engineering lies around Rs 12 lakhs (approx.). Moreover, some students also opt for roles in IT/CS, Consulting, Financial marketing, management as such. In these sectors, we have some really big names like Amazon, Google, Facebook in tech and Credit Suisse, EY, PWC, Morgan Stanley, Delloite in Finance/management role.
