How are the placements of B.Tech in CSE from SASTRA University?

Sastra University is one of the best colleges which give good placement to their student on the basic of their academic record. Many companies such as AMAZON, PAYPAL, THOROGOOD, CISCO, MICROSOFT are paying between 11 LPA to 24 LPA to its students. All you need to crack Amazon or PayPal is skill in coding or programming with a minimum CGPA of 7.5. Speaking of average package, we have a pot including ZOHO, GOFRUGAL, MU SIGMA, IBM, INAUTIX, FRESH DESK, TVS, HYUNDAI, HONEYWELL etc. which are giving a package between 4 LPA to 6 LPA. Most companies in this list don't have a stringent eligibility criteria. SASTRA University has been one of the good private colleges in India that attracts the maximum number of core companies each year for the respective branch in India. The average placement package offered to the students for the year 2017 was around 4 LPA. Companies that made rounds during the placement season of the college for computer science batch in 2017 were: Citicorp Finance India Ltd., Idea Cellular, Oracle, Accenture, Hindustan Unilever Limited, TVS Motors, KLA Tencor, Ramco Systems, Sterlite technologies, VA Tech Wabag Ltd., ICICI Bank , Beroe Inc., Rockwell, Collins, VGN Developers Pvt. Ltd., Maruti Udyog Ltd., ABN AMRO Group and Standard Chartered Bank. Minimum package offered was 3.3 LPA. Maximum pay package offered was around 21 LPA. Hello, SASTRA University (Shanmuga arts, science, technology, and research academy) is located at Thanjavur. It is a good university which is gaining more reputation these days. It may be due it's fee structure which is more affordable than the other private colleges. It has been ranked at 25 by NIRF India among the accredited engineering colleges in India. It is also ranked among the QS ranking which is offered for the colleges with international recognition and standards. B. Tech CSE (computer science engineering) is one of the highly demanded courses at SASTRA as it has better placements than the other streams in terms of companies as well as packages. Some of the top companies that visit the campus for CSE, IT are : Accenture, Alcatel, cognizant, Honeywell, HTC, Wipro, Microsoft, PayPal, tata Consultancy services (TCS), Intel and other reputed companies. The highest package offered till now is around 21lakhs per annum by PayPal. The average package ranges from 3-4 lakhs per annum. It is said that, TCS is the mass recruiter at SASTRA University.
