The placements are good and an average of 75% students get placed in reputed companies. For batch 2016, the highest package offered was 9 Lacs per annum by Microsoft and the average was 3 Lacs per annum. Companies that visited the university were - TIU-Instakart, IBM, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Videocon, Tech Mahindra, Godrej, Accenture, Fusion Charts, Johnson Controls, CGI, IBS Software, Asahi India Glass, Subex Ltd, Microsoft, Kreeti Technologies Pvt. Ltd, Think & Learn Pvt. Being an alumni of LPU I had lot of friends in CSE stream so I had an idea about the B.Tech CSE. They are placed in eminent institutions by completing their study from LPU as they found themselves quite fortunate! So I will be sharing certain details of LPU with you. An Engineering programme which seamlessly articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology with relevant practice through lab and projects for building the problem solving skills, keeping industry requirements in place. Students will develop competence in areas like programming, Database Management Systems, Networks and Security, Operating Systems, Cloud Computing etc. B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering is related with algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software etc. It is a comprehensive course in computer systems and applications. The students who pursue the course of Computer Science Engineering are taught about design, the implementation as well as management of computer software and hardware. Eligibility Details :Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics, Mathematics and English) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPUNEST. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. Computer science engineering is very good Branch of Engineers. Techno India University is really very good in every terms. The placements at Techno India University of computer science engineering are really very good. The placement ratio is almost 70% placement. The average package is around 7-8 LPA. CSE is amongst evergreen fields, the placements in this branch will increase with good amount of packages. Many companies like TCS, Infosys, L&T, Wipro, etc. take students from here. Other than these companies, many companies like ITC, Zydus, Torrent, Sun pharma, Apollo, Ultratech, Infosys and TCS, etc. hires students from here. This all credit goes to Training and Placement Cell Department of Techno India University. So it is really good to do computer science engineering if one is in search of better Placements. So the placement ratio at Techno India University is almost 90%. There are many opportunities of jobs for CSE in upcoming years in Multinational Companies coming in our country for business.

Techno India University, Salt Lake endeavors to offer high standard of education to individuals. They offer courses in varying faculties wherein students get to choose from as per their choice and eligibility criteria. The placement cell conducts campus recruitment drives where in most of the candidates graduating from here is absorbed to work in reputed companies of the world and the country. Placement rate is very good from the main campus of Techno India. In 2015-2016 the average placement is approx 90% from CSE department. Approximately, 309 students were selected in TCS. Package offered was 3.18 lakhs per annum. Other companies include Deloitte (3.6 lakhs per annum) Johnson (4.1 lakhs per annum) Infosys, Wipro, IBM and Amazon but they take very less students. Companies like:- WBPDCL, WBSETCL, NTPC, BHEL, SAIL, CESC, Indian Railways, Airport Authority of India, HIDCO, NKDA, DVC, KMDA, MN Dastur & Co. Ltd., BSNL, Variable Energy Cyclotron Centre, Prasar Bharati, PWD, WIPRO,TCS and many more. I would not recommend you to join this college anytime as there is not even one thing good about this engineering college that I can proudly tell you about. One thing is sure that if you happen to end up taking admission in this college then no matter how much effort you put into your academics, it would not fetch you with anything more than a pay package of probably around 3.5-4 LPA that too in a mass recruiter like TCS, Infosys or Wipro. Some of the companies that made rounds during the placement season for CSE 2017 batch were: Amazon, Infosys, Wipro, Pinnacle, Infotech Solutions, Zycus and Hitachi Consulting. Amazon turned up but recruited no students, which suggests the condition of the college, producing not even a single student worth placement above 4 LPA. I would like to summarize by saying that one should consider getting admission this college only if he has no other better option to pursue engineering at. I hope you do well and cheers.
