How are the placements of B.Tech in CSE from VIT University, Vellore?

VIT University-Vellore, Chennai is one of the best private universities of India and have been ranked under twenty among all private and government engineering colleges of India by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF). VIT provides very good placement for computer science engineering branch. The course is accredited by Tata Consultancy Services, Ericsson and Wipro technologies.Also recognised as A grade college by Tata Consultancy Services. Highlights of the placement: Total students in computer science engineering branch: 538 Total eligible students: 470 Total students registered for Placement drive: 455 Students with super dream offers(greater than 12 lakhs per annum): 98 Students with dream offers(greater than 5 lakhs per annum): 329 Students with atleast one offer: 428 The highest package offered:22 lakhs per annum. helpchat (domestic), and Undispached (international). Hi, CSE placement of VIT is very good. Companies that come to VIT are divided into three categories namely: Mass Recruiter : 3.2 - 3.4 LPA Dream Offer: 4 - 8 LPA Super Dream Offer: 10+ LPA In VIT if you are an average student or maybe a little below average you will end up with one of the Mass Recruiter Companies for sure. The average package for a CSE student is about 5 LPA - 5.5 LPA (Differs from year to year). But if you are above average student you will definitely get a Dream Offer and that too somewhere around 6 - 7 LPA. The highest package last year was 27 LPA (Amazon). Last year, students who sat for the placements about 95% got placed. About 150 students got a Super Dream offer. And I think about 60% of the students who sat for the placements got a Dream Offer, despite a downfall in the industry. If you are really good and know your subject very well then Super Dream is something you can definitely look for. The fine difference between a person getting a Dream Offer and a person getting a Super Dream offer is the Real. Knowledge of the subject. If you have a good CGPA then you definitely are eligible to sit for a Dream/Super Dream company but your success lies in your hands and your subject knowledge.

VIT University has over 400 recruiters from core engineering and software companies who visit each year.
