    Well i am from DTU Mech branch and most of my Friends are in ECE branch, so i can relate this question much better.
    The cut-offs for ECE usually are high and so the students who get this branch have an in born aptitude for doing well in academics.
    DTU ECE students are yearly recruited by top companies like Qualcomm, Airtel, SanDisk, TI, Texas, Samsung, ARM, Nvidia, Freescale and many other core electronics companies. If you consider yourself an average student you may get placed in technical and non-technical companies. An ECE student can also apply for non-technical job profiles.

    Delhi Technological University is one of the best engineering colleges of India. It ranks amongst top 10 engineering colleges of India.
    It is very well known for its great infrastructure. Faculties with the knowledge and experience in teaching as well as facilities provided by them are very good like labs, sports complex, canteen, Wi-Fi, etc.

    Hey there,
    DTU is one of the reputed engineering colleges in India. Every year, lakhs of students try getting admission here. According to the National Institute Ranking framework, Delhi Technological University was ranked 39th in India and around 3rd in Delhi.

    The placement scenario in DTU is very good with almost top brands coming to recruit the candidates from the campus. The area of electronics and communication is the very much demanding field after computer science engineering as it is most technology driven area and needs very much specialist on it.
    DTU is a Tier -1 college in engineering in Delhi with a top most facility, research material, laboratory, industry collaboration you name it they have it. Year by year, a large no. of candidate apply to get admission in the campus but only a few get in.

    Placement is amazing here for ECE branch. The average package lies in the range of 8-9 LPA CTC. Companies like Amazon, Zomato, Pepperfry, Cisco, Oracle, Jpmorgan, Morgan stanley, Microsoft, Flipkart, Intuit, Makemytrip, Samsung, Bajjaj, Nokia, Micromax, Qualcomm, Apple, Fractal Analytics, Relinace Industry, Tata Consultancy, etca lot more recruit the students.The highest package goes as high as 45 LPA.     DTU is a tier 1 engineering college and attracts some of the best recruiters for all the major engineering streams. One can expect three types of recruiters flocking to DTU for recruitment
    1. Core recruiters- Who will hire for core ece functional roles eg. Synopsys, Qualcomm, Texas Instruments, Mentor Graphics etc

    The placements at Delhi Technological University for Electronics and Communication Engineering is good. It is almost around 85% every year. This credit goes to training and placement cell of DTU-Delhi.
    The average package is around 8 to 9 LPA here.
    ECE Engineering is among the evergreen fields of Engineering.

Yes, you qualify for DTU if you received a 60% in your 12th grade.

 

However, admission is primarily determined by your JEE Main rank rather than your grades.

 

You have to attend JAC Delhi counseling after JEE.

 

Therefore, you can get DTU CSE/IT if your JEE score is high.

 

If your rank is low, you might have to look at other colleges or get a different branch.
