    The placements at NIT Tiruchirappalli for Electronics and Communication Engineering is seen very best. Almost around 95% every year. This credit goes to training and Placement Cell department of NIT Tiruchirappalli.
    The average package is around 9 to 11 lakhs here.
    ECE Engineering is among the evergreen fields of Engineering.

    In 2015, the percentage of students placed was 95 percent. For the ECE department, it was 95 percent in 2016 and 90 percent in 2017. The average salary for ECE engineering lies around Rs 12 lakhs (approx.). Moreover, some students also opt for roles in IT/CS, Consulting, Financial marketing, management as such.     NIT Tiruchirappalli is one of the prestigious institute established by the Government of India in Trichy which is generally called as Tiruchirappalli located in the state of Tamil Nadu. Placement record is good here.
    Here are a few data about the placement in ECE branch:-
    In 2014 Batch:
    Total of 222 company visited the campus and 82 B.Tech students placed which makes 92.2% of the placement record with the highest package of Rs 32 lakh per annum.
    In 2015 Batch:
    Total 226 company came for placement and 73 B.Tech student get placed which makes 97.3% placement record having highest salary package of Rs 15 Lakh per annum.

    Placements is one of the things NIT Trichy is famous for. Last year the overall percentage of placed student from UG was 96.7 percent. From the ECE department 98.7 percent students were placed.
