    Hello dear,
    NIT-Surathkal is among the top 10 NITs in India and is definitely doing great regarding the campus placements.
    Normally, the placements in NIT-Surathkal commence in the beginning of the final year (pre-final semester) i.e. in the month of July. The date of visit is intimated to the companies in June. On the allotted day, the company visits the campus, makes pre-placement talk, conducts tests and interviews and selects the candidates.The placement percentage for EEE branch is around 92%. Few of the companies for EEE branch are as follows:

    4. Microchip Tech
    5. Seagate

    NIT-Surathkal ranks 3rd for placements by NASSCOM in the year 2016 and also ranks 22 by NIRF since last two years.
    Some excellent dedication seen by TPO and assistance given by Placements Committe in bringing top companies in designing MOU for 3 years consecutively.
    For EEE students, some special Networking and Mechatronics, as well as core electrical program and competition, is held to encourage more participating in the technical development and scholarship are also awarded to meritorious students.

    National Institute of Technology-Suratkal is one of the best government colleges of India.
    It ranks 13 in the list of top engineering colleges of India.
    It is known for its great infrastructure, faculties with the knowledge and much-needed experience and better facilities like Wi-Fi Sports Complex and labs with better equipment and machines.
    NIT-Surathkal has many courses to offer out of which Electricals and Electronics engineering is one of the courses in which it offers 110 seats to the students.

    NITs are the premier institutes for engineering after the IITs. NIT, Surathkal is one of the top NITs and is known across the India. According to the National Institutional, Ranking Framework NIT Surathkal ranks 22nd among the engineering colleges in India.
    For electrical and electronics engineering, last year (2016-17) out of 81 students who applied to placements from EEE department 73 students were placed meaning 90.1 percent placement for EEE which is quite an impressive number. For EEE the minimum salary offered was Rs 3.3 lakhs per annum. The average salary was Rs 8.3 lakhs per annum and the maximum salary was Rs 22 lakhs per annum

    Placements:- Th average package offered is Rs 8.39 Lacs per annum for EEE and the highest is Rs 18.57 Lacs per annum. 95.40% students have been placed.     Hi,
    Electrical and Electronics Engineering is good course of engineering. Two branches of engineering are taught in this namely EE and ECE.
    The placements at National Institute of Technology, Surathkal of Electrical and Electronics Engineering is really very good. The placement ratio is almost 85 to 90%. Many multinational IT companies like Samsung, Oracle, Quality, Accenture, Cognizant, etc. visit every year and take students from here.
    The average package is around 15 lakhs per annum.

    The placements in National Institute of Technology, Surathkal for electronics and electrical engineering branch is as good as any other branch like computer science or information technology, at least in terms of the total students placed, if not better.
    Just in the previous year, the branch was regarded as the branch having the most number of students placed but the overall average of placement packages of ECE branch is comparatively lesser than that of CSE or ECE branch.
