College of Engineering, Pune is one of the best colleges in Maharashtra after IITs and NITs. According to MHRD rankings, it stands at an impressive 24th position. For electrical engineering department, last time (2016-17) out of 72 students who applied to placements from EE department 54 students were placed meaning 75 percent placement for EE which is a quite good number. Many reputed companies visited the campus for recruiting from EE department. The lowest package offered was a

    Hello,
This college has a reputation of being the best one in Maharashtra in-spite of being a govt. college! As happens in such conditions, best talents get attracted through State Level Entrance exam in this college. This, in turn, attracts recruiters who have an ear to the ground to know about these things. But alas, recruiters want only the best and hence top 25% students of the class get best packages while remaining do get but perhaps not the best. But then this is to be expected. I would, therefore, say that placements of electrical engineering students from this college are assured with best of the lot getting best placements!
