IIT Madras is one of the best college for engineering and placement also very good. In the 2017 year IIT Madras provide a good placement for students. IIT Madras witnessed a decent increase in the salary packages of the student graduating from the reputed institute. Despite of being one of the most coveted engineering colleges of India, the institute has not lost its sheen in proving best management education and skills to the MBA aspirants. Considering the placement report of 2017 of IIT Madras out of 1220 students are only 823 students got placed with the average placement package of Rs 8.9 lakhs per annum and highest placement package considering all the branches was Rs 68. 5 lakhs per annum.
Total percentage of students place considering all the students in the campus was 69.4 % were 24 pre placement offers were made. Also, 248 companies showed up during the placement season of the college making a total of 905 throughout.
