How are the placements of B.Tech in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from VIT University, Vellore?

VIT is one of the top-most institutions in South India and has a countrywide reputation for good placements and a lot of core companies come to visit the campus during the placement season. Although, the placements for VIT is the best for computer science branch, but even electronics and instrumentation at VIT will ensure you of a decent placement in future. VIT is among the top 6 colleges in the list of the best private colleges in India. At the same time, it has really helpful and supportive faculty where they would encourage you to push yourself more and more. While the average placement package for VIT in electronics and instrumentation branch is 3.5-4 lacs. The reason for the placements being not as good as computer science branch because lesser number of core companies visit the campus for recruiting electronics and instrumental engineers. Vellore Institute of Technology is located in Vellore. It is one of the best private colleges in India. It is well reputed oh well known for its infrastructure, faculty, campus and facilities provided by the institute like sport complex, hospital services, etc. The laboratories and research area in Vellore Institute of Technology University has been very good from few years back. Instrument and Technology in the Laboratories and the funding’s provided for the research or for competition is well known in VIT University. VIT University has the best hands on experience on real time equipment’s or machines or instrument which helps electronics and Instrumentation engineering students to gain knowledge from the first hand on the circuits instruments and machines. In terms of placement, there are very fewer companies for EI branch. You can change your branch by performing good in one of the core subjects. If you are changing your branch, change it to EEE. They allow EEE to sit in all companies at the time of placements but not EI. The year 2015 was quite successful, especially for electronics and instrumentation branch. The highest package offered was 8 Laca PA by SAP Labs, Next by Asian Paints around 5 Lacs PA which is expected to increase up to 7.5 Lacs PA as per the current scenario. Average package for electronics and instrumentation branch ranges from 4-8 Lacs.
