8 years agoIn terms of placement, there are very fewer companies for EI branch. You can change your branch by performing good in one of the core subjects. If you are changing your branch, change it to EEE. They allow EEE to sit in all companies at the time of placements but not EI. The year 2015 was quite successful, especially for electronics and instrumentation branch. The highest package offered was 8 Laca PA by SAP Labs, Next by Asian Paints around 5 Lacs PA which is expected to increase up to 7.5 Lacs PA as per the current scenario.
Average package for electronics and instrumentation branch ranges from 4-8 Lacs.
