The Indian Institute of Chemical Technology is one of the best institutes in India in terms of academics and skill development. This institute especially meant to teach the branches related to chemical and has a global tie-up with many high-class universities such as Cambridge University, Oxford and Stanford University. One can get into this institute only when they get a rank in advance that too not more than 12000. Hi,
Placements are good in the college. The legacy of the Institute of Chemical Technology (ICT) is enough to get good placements for all students. Placements are done in well-known MNCs and Indian companies. Some of the best pharmaceutical companies hire from ICT, so don't be too shocked when you hear names like Bayer, Pfizer, etc coming in. The strength of food engineering in ICT per batch is 17/18. Out of 17/18 students more than half of the batch usually applies for Masters in foreign countries. So, the actual number of students who seats for placement is hardly 6 to 7. So, getting handsome job offer from reputed company in food engineering is not a big problem. According to my experience, placement scenario for food engineering is more than good.
