How are the placements of B.Tech in Food Processing & Engineering from Karunya University?

Well, the field of food processing industry is growing in the country like India. As far as the job prospects are concerned the area of food processing is on the boos level. If you are doing B.Tech in food processing then definitely you are doing an extra effective branch which is unique in terms of engineering. Though it is growing still you will manage to get a good career option after your completing the degree. The university offers world class facility and infrastructure for the overall development of the candidate in terms of faculty, industry exposure, collaboration placement etc. All these basics are readily available in the premises of the University. The minimum package offered was Rs 3 Lacs and the highest package offered is Rs 16 Lacs to Karunya University student. The company like Wipro, Tata, TCS, Qualcomm etc. Are major and mass recruiter. Karunya University has excellent placement record, a total of 146 companies visited for placement and around 1622 students are placed for 2015, the total number of companies visiting for pre-placement has also increased from 65 to 146 from 2003-04 to 2025-16. Some of the key recruiters of the university are Accenture, Mahindra Satyam, Wipro, Infosys, Syntel, Renault, TATA, etc. We have a very good placements in our university of reputed companies like Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Amazon, HCL, etc. Many more core companies with respect to their branches, many internships are planned for students in different companies to students to grow as per industrial standards. This university has everything - infrastructure, environment and potential to become the best in the country but there are certain factors which is long due to be addressed. Having said that, there is a marked difference between the alumni of this institution compared to others. Overall, it is great for Food processing Engineering specialization in terms of job opportunities.
