How are the placements of B.Tech in Information and Communication Technology from DAIICT, Gandhinagar?

ICT is one of the two branches offered in DAIICT and every year, the cutoffs for ICT branch are very high and second compared to ICT + Hons in CS branch reason being the scope for further job opportunities as well as further studies. Students from both the streams appear for the placement drive together that includes series of tests and interview rounds that check overall technical knowledge of students. The placements tests and rounds of interviews depend from company to company. The placements offered in DAIICT overall are pretty good and the tech giants coming to recruit students include all the Tier 1 and Tier 2 companies like Amazon, Sprinkler, Morgan Stanley, Directi, Endurance International, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, Teal Labs, Juniper Computer Networks, Practo, Oracle, Deloitte, TCS, Infosys, Qualcomm, Kivi, etc. The highest package offered during a placement season is around Rs 25-30 lakh. In 2017, the highest salary package given to student was Rs 27 lakh. Also, most of the students appearing for the recruitment drive get placed, out of 300 students appearing, around 250+ students get placed.

The placements of DAIICT are excellent. All the students get offer letters from different companies. Almost all the companies visit here.
