The placement scenario at DTU is great for engineering branches, especially for IT and SE. Almost, all major computer companies like AMAZON, FLIPKART, ZOMATO, etc., recruit from the DTU and also for ECE, core companies like TEXAS INSTRUMENTS, SANDISK, FREESCALE, QUALCOMM, AIRTEL, recruit students. Apart from these vast number of the non-tech companies like Deloitte and BCG also come in large number. International companies like Texeg, Works applications and Daikin also visit the campus for recruitment. PSUs have also started recruiting in large number from this year. A lot of startups come to recruit students.

Delhi Technical University has the best coding culture and if you want to be placed in one of the core companies of Information Technology, you should consider getting yourself in the top 10 students' list.
Google, Epic, Amazon, Citibank, information edge (Naukri.com), Goldman Sachs, these are some of the core companies that visit the campus during placement season for both computer science and information technology students.
In the year of 2016, the average placement of the college was about 8 LPA while in the year 2017, it increased to a handsome 11 LPA due to the 86 LPA placement, that being the highest for both the departments, ha

    Hi,
As per my knowledge, placements for IT branch in DTU are not that bad and not that good. All companies that come for computers are open for IT as well. Sometimes a certain company may not list IT as one of the desired branches, at which point the skills of your placement coordinators come into play. Here all your coding skills will help you to compete and stand different from others.
Talking about the course structure, IT students have almost 80% of the same syllabus as of COE ncluding most of the core subjects. So, it doesn't make much of a difference.
Now talking about the placements, people from DTU IT 2016 got placed at Google, Ep

Yes, you qualify for DTU if you received a 60% in your 12th grade.

However, admission is primarily determined by your JEE Main rank rather than your grades.

You have to attend JAC Delhi counseling after JEE.

Therefore, you can get DTU CSE/IT if your JEE score is high.

If your rank is low, you might have to look at other colleges or get a different branch.
