    Raman College of Engineering is one of the best private colleges of Bhubaneswar, and it is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology and it is approved by AICTE and accredited by NAAC. It is a college which offers many courses out of which marine engineering is one of the course and it offers 60 seats to the students. C. V. Raman College of Engineering is known for its infrastructure and facilities provided by them like wi-fi sports complex and labs with better equipment and machines. Faculty of C. V. Raman College of engineering is about average as the faculty does not have much.

    CV Raman College of Engineering is an above average Tier 2 college which has managed to get almost 90% of the total batch of marine engineering student placed in 2017.
    Out of 134 students that got placed, 35% of the same got placed in the reputed mass recruiters like Infosys, TCS and Wipro leaving them no choice but to make a complete waste of the marine engineering degree.
    One can expect a 50% chance of getting into a decent Marine Engineering company.

    Placements in CVRCE marine branch is quite good. They are trained both physically and mentally to overcome the challanges to be faced by a marine engineer in TS Ranjita.     Placement in this college is for those students who truly deserve it.
    The students having very low CGPA shouldn't think about placement.
    The best students are selected in the campus placement but as it is a reputed college in Odisha, most of the students get placements on the campus or off the campus.
    The college shows 100% placement on its website or brochure but the real placement is around 50-60%. Many IT companies like TCS, Infosys and Wipro visits the campus for placements.
