How are the placements of B.Tech in Marine Engineering from Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education and Training?

The placement of the Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education and Training, MANET is not so good due to many reasons as the placements from this vary from an average of 4 to 5 LPA (starting salary) though one of the students has got the placement of 9 LPA in a private manufacturing company. The reason behind the sharp decrease in the placements in the naval engineering are the strict norms and guidelines issued by the Government of India for government jobs. Also, the courses are very costly. The placement percentage is very less and only around a thousand students got placed in the placement session of the college which has a strength of around 3 to 4 thousand students. You may need to struggle to get a good job. Although, this factor may not work after five years, currently, it is the case with naval engineering. Please don't take admission as it will not worth spending a huge amount and not even getting any confirmation regarding job opportunities and future scope. Thank you. Hope it helped.

Hi, The campus of MANET is the best. The placement scenario in MANET is not so good these days as it used to be. You might be roaming on the streets of Mumbai with your c.v. and nobody will even entertain you. Yes, you might get a job if you are lucky enough. This year, only 1015 percent of cadets got placed and rest are unplaced. This is not because college is not good but this days placement in merchant navy witnesses sharp decrease in India. The rules and regulations are too strict to survive during the course and all these courses are costly too. Summary- Do not take admission here. Instead, you take admission in Tolani. It is one of the best college in India in terms of placement. All the best.

Placements in Maharashtra Academy of Naval Education and Training (MANET) has improved. Now, companies are also going to MANET to hire freshers. But, they don't give 100% placement.
