From what I have learned while pursuing B.Tech from NIT Trichy, is that COEP is known even to the people in Tamil Nadu which means it is known all over India. For the mechanical department, last time (2016-17) out of 142 students who applied to placements from mechanical department 119 students were placed meaning 83.80 percent placement for mechanical which is a quite good number. Many reputed companies visited the campus for recruiting from the mechanical department. The lowest package offered was around Rs 3 Lacs per annum and the highest package offered was around Rs 33.8 Lacs per annum (ac

When it comes to placements, you should always choose a university/college that has a great track record for placements. In my opinion, I would suggest you to opt for Chandigarh University, Mohali as it has a record breaking stats in placements. For batch 2021, it had over 5000+ placements for the batch 2021 during their virtual placements during the pandemic times.
