I do not have any idea about IIT, but being alumni of LPU I would say that it is the best University to join. LPU becomes the best place to pursue an engineering degree with highly qualified teaching staff, the best laboratories, and modern technologies. Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee commonly known as IIT R is one of the oldest engineering colleges of India and is located in Roorkee city of Uttarakhand. The college is well known for its strict rules and excellent placement. In mechanical engineering placement is good but only few core companies visit the campus. It is an Indian premier institute and the IIT Roorkee has the best placements of the mechanical engineering and the highest pack for this branch is 78 LPA and the average pack is 12.3 LPA plus perks and the big companies like Honda, Hero, Bajaj etc. Visit this college regularly.
