    First of all, mechanical engineering deals with the working and functioning of electrical appliances and motor vehicles which find large scope in the future markets. Not as a CSE student, a large scale field work is required and mechanical students keep of developing themselves working in their respective workshops and their live projects.
    When it comes to placements, one should be knowing about the curriculum and the working of the mech. department in LPU. Here, there is a separate tower for mechanical students and a very remarkable history of achievements made by the students only.

    The placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records.

    Hi there, LPU is famous for its placements, more than 600 companies are regular recruiters from the campus every year. From Trident which offered 15 LPA to Emeryll to Forbes Marshall which offered 6 lacs of package, students get a whole lot of placement opportunities depending upon their domains and CGPA as well as their interests.     They are good. Many reputed companies visit the campus. Talking about last year's highest placements, it was 11.5 LPA. Average was good and around 2.5 LPA.

    The highest packages are INR. 21 lacs, but it is out campus placement and average is around INR. 4 lacks in LPU. So, it all depend on you that how you perform in your B.Tech, if you are very good, then you will surely get placed with good package.

    LPU is best known for its unbeatable placements along with quality education, with its alumni working at top-notch companies like google, amazon, etc. For more information, you may refer to the website. The highest packages for mechanical engineering has been 12-15 lacs per annum so for and average ranges within 2-4 lacs per annum. Good luck.

    Dear Aspirant, there are certain parameters such as placements, infrastructure, faculty level, environment, growth etc. To be considered while selection of institute for pursuing education.     Placements are too good at LPU, it has got several ranks and accreditation in placement records, the highest being in agriculture of 1 crore per annum.
  • LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible students to secure good placement. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students.
