Some excellent dedication seen by TPO and assistance given by Placements Committee in bringing top companies in designing MOU for 3-years consecutively. Total Intake:- 110 (mechanical)

Mechanical engineering is among the best engineering courses in terms of training, education, placements, research and further studies.

NIT-Surathkal ranks 3rd for placements by NASSCOM in the year 2016 and also ranks 22 by NIRF since last two years.

For the year 2016-17, 107 out of 113 students were placed in mechanical. Highest package was 22 lpa.
Companies that visit include PepsiCo, Bosch, ExxonMobil, L&T, etc.
