Mechanical Engineering normally suffers in placements in Pune University colleges. But due to strong TPO, VIT successfully places mechanical engineering students as well with some MNCs.
    Best regards.

Vishwakarma Institute of Technology is not the kind of college I would recommend one to go for. Although it provides for a good average placement package for the year 2017 of that been 5.5 lacs and the highest placement package being offered for the year 2017 been 33 lacs, the college fails to meet up to the expectations and the infrastructure and faculty is not as advertised to you. So great amount of disappointment awaits you when you arrive at the college.
Some of the Companies making rounds during the placement season are:
Mahindra & Mahindra, Nvidia, Accenture, TATA Technologies, Wipro Technologies, Mercedes- Benz (India) Ltd., AD
