    VNIT-Nagpur invites various public and private sector organizations for campus recruitment of final year students. During the academic year 2016-17, more than 100 companies visited the campus. These included all the major companies like Morgan Stanley, L & T Group, Bajaj Auto, Qualcomm India Pvt Ltd, Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Hyundai Mobis, John Deere, AVAYA India, Godrej Industries, Vedanta Ltd; Hindalco, Ashok Leyland, Amazon, Citicorp Finance India Ltd., JP Morgan, ABB, and many more. All these companies offered 543 jobs UG & PG students (458 UG & 85 PG) as on 30th June 2017.

    Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology would ensure you the best of the placements in India after Indian Institute of Technologies.
    For mechanical branch, one can expect an average placement of around 5 to 6 lacs why the highest placement package offered for the batch of 2017 was around 27 lacs.
    Also, the college boasts of a 98% total batch placement percentage, as out of the 50 students that registered for the placements in the college, 49 students got placed in reputed mechanical companies.

    Mechanical Engineering from Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology, Nagpur is one of the best specializations. Apart from Non-core companies, the institute is visited by various Automobile and power plants inclined companies.
    Many companies such as TATA and Bajaj offer student as much as an average of 5 lakhs. According to a statistics that I found in college website the placement in 2015-16 included companies like Bajaj Auto recruiting 2 students, Futures First recruiting 1, One placement in Goofers India Pvt.
